Senior HR Advisor

Location: Teesside

Salary: £37,000 - £45,500 per annum


Our client, a global manufacturer based in the Teesside area, are currently seeking a Senior HR Advisor to join their team on a 1-year fixed term contract.

This role will be responsible for the improvement and deployment of HR processes across a multi-functional organization while ensuring compliance with legislative requirements. Main duties will include:

  • Provide staffing and recruiting support, evaluate existing structure, headcount forecasting and data analysis
  • Resolve conflicts and provide coaching and counselling for individuals or groups
  • Lead performance management activities, including employee development planning
  • Manage administration of policies and procedures, advise managers on compliance with key legislation
  • Lead training needs and assessments
  • Coach and lead more junior members of the HR team
  • Actively participate in initiatives to improve the overall effectiveness of HR processes
  • Create employment contracts as required

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate;

  • A HRM/CIPD qualification or relevant experience in a similar role
  • Advances knowledge of HR systems, experience with Oracle would be advantageous
  • Previous experience in a managerial role is desirable
  • Strong attention to detail in aspects of the role
  • Previous experience within a complex and multifunctional organization is essential
  • The ability to present information in a professional format
