Parts Sales Coordinator

Contract Term: Permanent

Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 per annum


Our client is a successful North East manufacturer who are looking for a Parts Sales Coordinator to join their expanding team in the Gateshead area.

The hours of this role are 8am – 4.15pm Monday – Friday

This role will be responsible for supporting sales of UK aftermarket components. Other duties include:

  • Assist customers with identifying the correct parts they require
  • Maintain a professional, service orientated parts ordering process to all external and internal customer
  • Quoting customer enquiries, providing technical support, validating prices/order acceptance, issue of order acknowledgments, expediting parts with purchasing etc
  • Monitor customer accounts and parts order status to identify issues and resolve problems with potential customer impact
  • Identify upselling opportunities for further parts sales and services
  • Work to identified KPI’s provided by the manager

The successful applicant will have;

  • Proven experience within a similar role
  • Excellent organisation skills and ability to adapt to customer demands
  • A service minded approach towards all internal and external customers
  • The ability to handle difficult customers with tact and diplomacy
  • Good levels of numeracy
