Bilingual Customer Service Representative

Salary: £20,000 - £24,000 depending on experience


Our client is a successful OEM manufacturer based in the Tyne and Wear area. With an International client base they are now looking to recruit a bilingual Customer Service Representative on a 12 month fixed term contract.

Candidates must bilingual in a second language such as Spanish, German or Italian; other second languages will be considered.

Working hours of this role are Monday-Thursday 8am-4.15pm & Friday 8am-3pm.

The successful candidate will be working closely with sales and production teams to create a customer friendly  environment with the following responsibilities:

  • Providing a highly efficient service orientated order fulfilment process for both internal and external sales, including order acceptance, transportation booking/scheduling, shipment documentation in line with customer requirements.
  • Respond to customer queries including order status, amendments ensuring a high level of customer service at all times.
  • Monitor customer accounts on a regular basis resolving any problems including credit blocks, delivery issues.
  • Control the delivery process, preparing documentation for goods despatch and booking transportation and agreed lead times.

Candidates will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal coupled with experience of handling difficult customers with tact and diplomacy and managing solutions where needed. You will have experience in a service related role handling logistics and export documentation.
